Our Staff
Our staff aims to be an extension of your child’s family. Our teachers provide exceptional stability –– on average they have been here for more than 13 years. All staff and teachers have at least 12 hours of early child development classes, and maintain CPR and First Aid certification.

Our Programs
Parents in Chico, Califonia have been trusting us with their child’s cognitive, social, spiritual and physical development since 1998. Our program is tailored for two different age groups. The Monkey Room for children 2–3.5 years old and our Tiger Room for children 3.5–5 years old.

“Chico Oaks Preschool has been providing fun, loving, safe and enriching care for kids, for over 20 years. In fact, I was one of the first students Chico Oaks ever had. When we had our child, Eleanor (age 2), Chico Oaks was a no-brainer, even when we didn’t feel the pressure to get her into preschool. It was teacher Kristen who dipped my toes in paint 28 years ago and she is there today, with my daughter, sharing the same enriching experiences. Eleanor has been at Chico Oaks for months and it’s been awesome. All the artwork, time spent outside (which was super important to me), worship and Bible songs have helped Eleanor’s development explode. Her language skills are off the chart, she is counting in sequence with ease, breaking into ABC songs, plays well with others and loves the teachers.
